Nursing is an art and if it is made an art it requires as exclusive as the devotion and hand preparation.

Service to the mankind is the primary function of the nurse and that is the reason for the existence of nursing profession. Basic nursing care is planning, teaching the Client and his family in relation to the restoration, promotion of health, prevention of diseases and participating in research related to health care.

In nursing there is diploma course (GNM), Under Graduate courses like B.Sc, P.B.B.Sc and post graduate courses like M.Sc with 5 Specialization and Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care are available.

Nursing curriculum prepare the nursing students to became clinical nurse, teachers, collaborators, leader, innovator and advocate. To serve in the community they are undergoing middle level Management training in the final year. Since there is constant demand for nursing at global level our nursing students are prepared to meet those challenges.

Nursing profession is not what brings home your pay cheque but it is what you were put on earth to do with such passion and such intensity that it’s became spiritual in calling.

It helps to encourage development and facilitate recovery with hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat and set personalised goals to people to stay in work while helping them to remain independent for as long as possible without the use of drugs or surgery.

Dr. Chandrashekar Foundation ® has a long track record in the field of medical education and health care, with an objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in health sciences. Cauvery College of pharmacy offers four year degree (B. Pharma) and two year diploma (D Pharm) courses.
